Playboy Malt launched
Glenfiddich has previously produced private vintages to mark the first flight of Concorde and for the Queen Mary II.
Now a 1974 whisky, which has been dubbed Play Malt, has been produced for the German edition of the men’s magazine.
All 248 bottles will be sold exclusively in Germany for €350.
The Glenfiddich Vintage 1974 comes from a single cask and was selected by the magazine’s editor Rudi Raschke and Glenfiddich’s malt master David Stewart.
In his tasting notes, Mr Stewart described it as “vibrant and complex with a lively mouthfeel and long-lasting rich, sweet finish”.
