Austrian bus crash driver accused

A MINIBUS driver is alleged to have caused an Austrian bus crash that killed five British tourists.

The Austrian authorities announced at a tense press conference that the driver was accused of causing death by negligence.

They were among 42 British tourists whose tour bus plunged off a mountain road and tumbled 60 metres down a slope near the town of Hallein, 25km from Salzburg.
