Leaders set no goals to tackle greenhouse gas reduction

The leaders recognised that "climate change is a serious and long-term challenge that has the potential to affect every part of the planet".

Their final declaration acknowledged that human activity contributed a large part to global warming and said there was a need to reduce greenhouse gases mostly the product of the fossil fuels that power much modern industry.
