Jordan, Peter take the cake in tying the knot

FIVE weddings and a mighty magazine deal will take place today.

Glamour girl Jordan, royal stepson Tom Parker Bowles, model Jodie Kidd, GMTV presenter Kate Garraway and Coronation Street star Samia Ghadie are all tying the knot.

But the nuptials of Jordan and Peter Andre will be conducted behind closed doors. The couple have signed a megabucks deal with a glossy magazine, which is keeping the details a closely guarded secret.

Most upmarket of the lot will be the Parker Bowles wedding to Sara Buys.

His mother Camilla, the Prince of Wales and stepbrothers Princes William and Harry will attend.

The ceremony is taking place at St Nicholas Church in Rotherfield Greys, near Henley-on-Thames.

The bride will wear Alexander McQueen and the wedding cake is a six-tier affair covered in Swiss white chocolate.

Parker Bowles, 31, remains best known for the moment he was exposed as a cocaine user in 1999.

Buys hit the headlines earlier this year for her knicker-revealing outfit at Charles and Camilla’s wedding.

Buys &says the wedding will be “so humungous that it makes even Liza Minnelli and David Gest’s global guest-listed nuptials seem like an intimate dinner”.

But her big day will be put in the shade by Jordan and Peter Andre.

The couple, who met on reality show I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here, will tie the knot at Highclere Castle in Berkshire.

Kerry Katona and Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding are among the bridesmaids.

Jordan is rumoured to be arriving in a Cinderella- style horse-drawn carriage and walk down to the aisle to Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing.

As the happy couple sign the register, a choir will sing the Stevie Wonder hit Signed, Sealed, Delivered.

Guests will eat lobster and the waiters will be opera singers who will break into song during the reception, according to reports.

Charlotte Church was also booked to sing but has pulled out.

Sadly, reports of a breast-shaped wedding cake have been denied.

Jordan’s spokeswoman insisted: “The do won’t be tacky.”

Jodie Kidd will wed internet entrepreneur Aidan Butler at a 16th century church in West Sussex, followed by a reception at the All England Jumping Course.

And Kate Garraway will marry Derek Draper, former Labour spin doctor turned psychotherapist, in central London. The ceremony will be attended by her GMTV colleagues.

Coronation Street star Samia Ghadie, 22, will tie the knot with businessman beau Matt Smith, 29, at a church near their home in Cheshire.
