‘Life will never be the same without Liam’

IT was a day for setting aside the controversies that dogged Liam Lawlor’s career to focus on celebrating a life less ordinary.

Like other politicians castigated on the national stage, the former TD, who died in a traffic accident in Moscow last Saturday, found strength among his own people in Lucan.

And it was those people who provided the greatest solace to his family yesterday as hundreds of friends and constituents turned out to attend his funeral Mass.
