Charles pays staff wages for Camilla

CAMILLA Parker Bowles has made her way into the Prince of Wales’s official accounts for the first time, it was revealed yesterday.

Charles's partner appeared to move into a new realm of acceptance with her name cropping up alongside those of Prince William and Prince Harry three times in the 48-page document.

The report, which outlined Charles's financial status, revealed that his£12 million income from the Duchy of Cornwall was used, in part, to meet some personal costs for Mrs Parker Bowles.

According to aides' calculations, Charles's companion has the equivalent of three staff a number of part-time posts including two people who help with correspondence, a driver and a gardener.

Charles's income comes from the landed estate, the Duchy of Cornwall, and in 2003-2004 was £11,913,000 jumping a fifth from the previous year.

He uses £5.9 million of this on official and charitable work and spends£4.4 million on tax and personal expenditure including salaries for Mrs Parker Bowles's staff.
