BRITISH Prime Minister Tony Blair yesterday said he will devote his time over the rest of this month and July to finding a solution to the impasse in the North.

Mr Blair made his comments after Taoiseach Bertie Ahern urged him to call autumn elections in the North.

"Mr Blair is listening to what we are saying and he knows that if we drift out of autumn elections it would be dangerous," Mr Ahern said.
