Passenger traffic numbers increase

AER RIANTA increased its passenger traffic by 4% during 2002 with a record 19.3 million people travelling through Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports.

Almost 800,000 additional passengers travelled through the three airports, Aer Rianta revealed last night in its end-of-year traffic figures.

Dublin, accounting for over 15.1 passengers, and Cork were both up but Shannon numbers slipped slightly.
