Go-go dancer held on child abuse charges

By Bruce Shipkowski, New Jersey A GO-GO dancer sought in the horrific abuse of three young boys, one of whom was beaten and starved to death, was captured yesterday.

Sherry Murphy was found sleeping in a Newark apartment around 2am, police Lt Derek Glenn said. Police said it was not her apartment but offered no further details.

A spokeswoman for Newark’s mayor said a cab driver tipped off police to Murphy’s whereabouts.
