Baby timebomb ticking for older women: survey
A British study found only around half of those who have not had a baby by the time they turn 30 but who still intend to start a family managed to do so in the following six years.
According to a fertility survey by the Office for National Statistics, women are more likely to start a family in their 30s if they are in the top 25% of earners. But it suggested that as women get older the number of children they intend to have gets smaller.
