Colombia politician hostage ‘well’

A COLOMBIAN politician kidnapped three years ago by Marxist rebels is in “good health,” a commander of the rebel forces has said.

Ingrid Betancourt, 43, and her campaign manager, Clara Rojas, were kidnapped by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC. They are among a dozen politicians and others held hostage by the group.
