Aniston, Pitt in €50m settlement

HOLLYWOOD heavyweights Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have decided who gets what in their €50 million divorce settlement, according to reports.

The actress will get their €24.3m Beverly Hills mansion after their assets are divvied up almost a year after she filed for divorce, IMDB.com reported.

But Pitt - now in a relationship with Angelina Jolie - apparently gets control of their lucrative film company Plan B Productions, with Aniston retaining only a “minor stake”.

The production firm, which was behind a string of 12 successful independent movie releases, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, is thought to be worth over €41m.

Pitt and Aniston announced their separation just over a year ago. Aniston filed for divorce in March, citing irreconcilable differences. It became final in October.

The Fight Club actor and Jolie had been romantically linked since the filming of Mr & Mrs Smith but he has denied she was the reason for the split. She is now expecting his baby.

Pitt and Aniston were reported to have agreed the divorce deal through their lawyers days before the Friends actress’s 37th birthday last Saturday.

Aniston is reportedly in therapy over her split from Pitt. The former Friends star is reported to be getting help twice a week to cope with her former spouse’s new relationship with Jolie.

An insider told America’s In Touch magazine: “In public, she acts like Brad and Angelina’s relationship is not affecting her. But behind closed doors she’s a mess.”

However, despite the emotional trauma, Brad and Jennifer are said to be still on speaking terms.

It’s claimed the actor - who is expecting a baby with Angelina - took time out this week to ring his ex-wife and wish her a happy birthday.

Aniston is also rumoured to be writing a tell-all book about her marriage to Pitt. The actress thinks it would help her get back at Brad for his romance with the Tomb Raider star.

Aniston’s also been getting new boyfriend Vince Vaughn hot under the collar while filming their new movie The Break Up.

In a saucy scene, Jen’s character Brooke gets a full body wax and struts naked in front of ex-boyfriend Gary, played by Vince, in their fight to see who has to move out of the flat they share.
