Friends star plans two Pitts the younger
While she said Friends had been the "time of my life", she looks forward to settling down with movie star husband Brad Pitt and starting a family.
Aniston, who plays Rachel Green, demanded that filming in the final series of the sit-com end later this month, and many suspect it was so she could start a family.
She told ABC's Primetime she would "definitely love to have two" children.
"I've liked working right now but I also feel that this'll be probably the most important job I'll ever do, having a baby," she said.
"That deserves time like my career deserves time."
She added: "Friends was fantastic. I bet I'll be able to say it was the time of my life."
During the interview, broadcast on American TV last night, Aniston also said her rift with her mother was far from over.
The bitter split came when Nancy Aniston gave an interview to a television show and wrote a book about the Friends star.
"She made a mistake. I don't think she knew any better, obviously," Aniston said.
She added sadly: "I never thought my mom would not know my husband."
She said she had "definitely tried" to patch up the relationship.
"I made the efforts, and I've sort of started ... you know, it's that stubborn thing of, 'well, I tried ... I tried enough. Now it's your turn'."
Filming for the final series is coming to an end, with the millionaire members of the cast soon to go their separate ways.
The one-hour Friends finale is expected to be taped on January 23 in Burbank, California, and is set to air in the US on May 6.
