Suicide bomber kills four in attack on Saudi police HQ

TERRORISTS yesterday targeted Saudi police headquarters in the capital Riyadh with a suicide bomb attack that killed at least four people.

Dozens were injured as the blast ripped facades off buildings, revealing rooms ablaze. Cars parked nearby were smashed by debris. Clouds of dust and black smoke rose from the building and settled over the neighbourhood.

Riyadh had been tense following a series of clashes between police and suspected Muslim militants and a US warning of possible terror attacks.
