QUENTIN TARANTINO resurrected the career of John Travolta and now the film director wants to work his film magic on another star of yesteryear — Tommy Steele.

The British actor could be the unlikeliest leading man in Tarantino’s next movie. Now aged 67, the “chirpy Cockney” has not made a film for 25 years.

Asked which British actor he would most like to use in one of his films, Tarantino chose Steele without hesitation.
