Mine fire in Argentina

TWO miners were killed after a fire swept through a coal mine in southern Argentina and rescuers were still searching for 11 others believed to be trapped in a shaft.

The fire began in a gallery in Rio Turbio, 1,345 miles south west of Buenos Aires in the Patagonian province of Santa Cruz, on Monday night.
