Human trafficker arrested

AUTHORITIES posing as potential immigrants arrested a major human trafficker yesterday suspected of smuggling some 600 Pakistanis abroad, police said.

The man, Malik Ehsan, was arrested in Hafizabad, 100 miles northwest of Lahore.

“He is part of a big human smugglers racket. He has confessed to sending 600 Pakistanis abroad in two years,” the spokesman said.
