Dress mess gives way to seamless wedding day

As one of 183 young women depending on the Wedding Dress bridal shop to kit her out for her big day, she was facing the prospect of cobbling a whole new look together in just 48 hours.

That was on Thursday when news broke that the bridal shop in Penrose Wharf, Cork city, had ceased trading due to financial difficulties.
