Party venue offers celebrity bum deal

MEMBERS of the public were being invited to cosy-up and flirt with Hollywood stars at a new party venue yesterday.

The A-list London haunt is teeming with celebrities and models but there's a catch: all are of the waxwork variety.

Madame Tussauds was launching Blush, a party place at which the public can interact, and interfere, with their favourite stars even making J-Lo blush by whispering sweet nothings into her ear. Brad Pitt is there with his latex, squeezable bottom, while fun-loving socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson is armed with a squirting water pistol.

After having names ticked off on the guest list, partygoers will be able to strut their stuff on the red carpet, dodging the flashing lights of the paparazzi.

Hidden cameras will film guests and broadcast them live for all to see on a massive TV screen.

Live stylists will be available to apply make-up, while the latest gossip will be relayed by celebrity magazine Heat.

But, as at any celeb party, the atmosphere could turn sour. Guests might be on the receiving end of some cutting fashion advice and might have to plead with Madonna's bouncers to allow them to hang out in her exclusive VIP area.

A Madame Tussauds spokesman said: "Blush is London's funky new party place and will take guests behind the usually closed doors of a strictly A-list celebrity celebration where they become part of the action."
