Fraud charges set for Russia’s richest

A Moscow court has ruled that Russia’s richest man and Kremlin foe Mikhail Khodorkovsky will be tried next week on fraud and tax evasion charges.

In a small victory for Khodorkovsky, a judge ruled that he can be tried together with Platon Lebedev, another key shareholder in Russia’s largest oil company Yukos who faces the same charges, and set a trial date for June 16.
