The guitarist died of lung cancer one year ago at the age of 58.

A High Court document yesterday revealed that the gross value of his estate in Britain amounted to £99,226,780, with a net value of £98,916,464.

The star died on November 29 last year with his wife Olivia, 54, and son Dhani, 25, at his side.

Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo and Eric Clapton last night starred in a tribute concert at the Royal Albert Hall to raise funds for The Material World Charitable Foundation, which Harrison founded.

Harrison’s widow spoke a few days ago for the first time about her late husband to tell how he had accepted his fate long before his death.

Los Angeles-born Olivia, who was married to Harrison for 23 years, told an NBC interviewer: “George dedicated a lot of his life to obtain a good ending and I don’t have any doubt that he was successful.”

She said Harrison, a follower of the Hindu Hare Krishna faith, had spent years trying to achieve self-realisation and peace with God.

The couple had a mansion home in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, where, Olivia said, he saved her life when they were attacked by a knife-wielding intruder in December 1999.
