Black Watch soldier ‘died for war he didn’t believe in’
Private Paul Lowe, 19, Sergeant Stuart Gray, 31, and Private Scott McArdle, 22, who all came from Fife, in Scotland, died in the blast at a vehicle checkpoint on Thursday.
Pte Lowe’s younger brother Craig, an 18-year-old private who returned from Basra last month, paid tribute to his “brilliant brother, comrade and friend”, who loved his job but did not believe that he should have been in Iraq.
