THE lawyer defending a Disney World entertainer from charges of molestation earned his stripes yesterday.

Briton Michael Chartrand was yesterday acquitted of charges he fondled a 13-year-old girl’s breasts while dressed as Tigger at the Walt Disney World theme park.

During the three-day trial in Orlando, Mr Chartrand refused a plea bargain that would have seen him serve 50 hours of community service, be banned from theme parks and undergo psycho-sexual evaluation, but avoid 15 years in prison if found guilty.
