Kerry crowned kings of Munster

ALL-IRELAND champions Kerry claimed a 70th Munster title on the day the Championship’s big four staked their claim for Sam Maguire.

The Kingdom may wear green and gold, but these days they have a blue-collar attitude that again stood to them yesterday in the face of a battling Cork effort at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Declan O’Sullivan celebrated becoming the first man from the Dromid Pearses club in South Kerry to captain the Kingdom by claiming the game’s decisive only goal.
