ACTRESS Leslie Ash was yesterday diagnosed with an infection known as MSSA that attacks the nervous system.

The 43-year-old contracted MSSA (Methicillin-Sensitive Staphylococcus Aureus) while in London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital last week, according to her publicist Neil Reading.

In a statement released on behalf of the Men Behaving Badly star, he said: “Leslie Ash has been diagnosed with having contracted an infection known as MSSA. Whilst this is a serious infection it is very treatable and not at all life-threatening.
