PRSA products approved by board

THE Pensions Board yesterday announced its approval of 41 PRSA products it hopes will result in a huge upsurge in the numbers opting for private pensions.

These, the first PRSA products approved in conjunction with the Revenue Commissioners, cover 16 Standard and 25 Non-Standard PRSAs.

The way has been cleared for the pensions battle to commence, and these providers will start coming to the market in the next few weeks.
