No respite for Caribbean as Hurricane Ivan follows in footsteps of Frances

HURRICANE Ivan was brewing in the Caribbean last night, threatening to wreak havoc only days after Hurricane Frances tore across the region.

Ferocious winds blew off roofs and took down trees in Barbados as Ivan churned toward Tobago and Grenada.

Barbados felt hurricane force gusts up to 90 mph yesterday morning.
