Chainsaw death in London

A HUSBAND was yesterday being treated for shock after his wife was killed in a tragic accident when he fell from a ladder while using a chainsaw.

The man, who has not been named, was pruning trees at the couple’s home in south-east London when the incident happened on Monday afternoon. A police spokesman said: “It was a really tragic accident. He is obviously in a great deal of shock.”

The couple, who have not been named, lived in Eastnor Road, Eltham, and were both aged in their 50s.
