Labour to probe claims MP was paid by Iraq

LABOUR officials are to investigate “extremely serious” allegations that maverick MP George Galloway was paid at least £375,000 (€539,000) a year

Mr Galloway dismissed the claims as “black propaganda” and “intelligence hocus pocus”.

The Glasgow Kelvin MP said he intended to sue the Daily Telegraph, which published the accusations, for libel.
