Assault allegations against Jordan dropped by police

POLICE are to take no further action against glamour model Jordan over an alleged nightclub assault, her agent said today.

Assault allegations against Jordan dropped by police

Dave Read, who represents the 25-year-old, said solicitors had advised him that West Midlands Police have dropped their inquiries into allegations that she attacked a woman at the Bambu venue in Birmingham.

Jordan, whose real name is Katie Price, had been due to answer bail at an undisclosed police station in the area today.

“I have been told that no further action is being taken against Katie, and that she does not even have to answer bail,” said Read.

Asked if his client was relieved about the decision, Read replied: “She is more aggravated over the hassle of it all, but at least this spares her a drive up to Birmingham.

“She was surprised, really. Why go through all the bother of making a complaint when it is just going to be dropped?”

Jordan was arrested in August following an incident on July 5 at the Birmingham club.

She had been enjoying a night out with nine friends and Read when the alleged assault took place.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We can confirm that bail has been cancelled and no further action is to be taken in this matter.”
