Lesbian bears child via Internet

A LESBIAN who conceived a baby after buying sperm on the Internet has given birth to a boy, it was disclosed yesterday.

Jamie Saphier, aged 26, from Merseyside, gave birth to her first child by Caesarean section at Liverpool Women’s Hospital.

Her mother, Susan, said: “Jamie just wants to be left alone to recover from the birth in peace. She is getting used to being a mother. I’m just glad the baby is healthy, that is the most important thing. I think she regrets telling everybody about what she did.”

Last year Jamie and her partner Sarah Watkinson, aged 29, went public about their decision to buy sperm from the website ManNotIncluded.com, after they were refused help from their GP.

They paid about £1,500 for the fresh sperm to be delivered to their home, where Miss Saphier impregnated herself using a DIY kit provided by the website.
