EU aid donations dwarf those of US

EUROPE delivers the most aid in the world, dwarfing amounts donated by the US, said EU commission president Romano Prodi.

Mr Prodi struck back at accusations by George W Bush that the EU was starving Africa in an article to be

published in countries the US president is visiting this week.
