Children die in horror attacks

A FOUR-YEAR-OLD boy was beaten to death and a toddler disembowelled in two weekend acts of horror that have stunned residents of Strasbourg.

The mother of four-year-old Dylan and her companion were placed under investigation a step short of being charged for murder with acts of torture and barbarity, judicial officials said.

Dylan, who had not attended his nursery school for eight days, died early on Saturday.
