Girls as young as 14 ‘being fitted with contraceptive implants’

DOCTORS are fitting girls as young as 14 with powerful contraceptive implants making them infertile for up to three years without their parents’ consent, it was reported yesterday.

Around 400 girls aged under 16 have been fitted with implants, according to The Sunday Times.

Doctors insert rods into their arms which release synthetic hormones that prevent the teenagers producing eggs.
