Stewart may take action

ROCK star Rod Stewart told a court he should be paid for nine concerts even though they were cancelled.

The singer was sued by a concert promoter who said Stewart should return a €640,000 deposit. But Stewart has counter-sued arguing he should be paid the full €2m for the tour of South and Central America.

“A deal is a deal,” the 59-year-old crooner told a Los Angeles court yesterday.
