Coca-Cola and Pepsi have been asked by the country’s Supreme Court to explain why they have plastered adverts on the side of the mountains.

Judges hauled the firms over the coals after logos were painted onto the rock face alongside more than 50 kilometres of road in Himachal Pradesh.
