Royal aide denies rape claims by ex-valet Smith

A KEY aide to the Prince of Wales yesterday broke his silence to deny allegations he raped another male servant.

In a statement through his solicitors, he attacked his accuser, ex-valet George Smith, as an "unreliable alcoholic" who kept changing his story.

Mr Smith's claims, reported in yesterday's Mail on Sunday, differed "substantially and significantly in many regards" from details he told police last year.
