Shop blast in China

A GAS tank yesterday exploded in a shop in China’s northwest, killing at least six people and leaving a six-year-old child missing.

The explosion in the town of Zhaochuan also injured five people and damaged homes.

The shopkeeper’s wife, two neighbours and three customers died in the blast.
