Brit Awards hail the Chiefs as Blunt edges it

The Kaiser Chiefs and James Blunt triumphed at the Brit Awards last night.

Kaiser Chiefs were the night's biggest winners with a hat trick of awards - the Leeds band were named Best British Group, Best British Rock Act and Best British Live Act.

Blunt, the former Army captain who was unheard of a year ago, beat the likes of Will Young and Robbie Williams to the title of Best British Male.
