Kuwaiti Killer hanged

A KUWAITI man convicted of murder was hanged yesterday for shooting and then slitting the throat of a one-time friend with whom he had been arguing over money.

Ghannam Abdullah al-Mutairi, 31, was executed at Nayef Palace, a state building at Kuwait City. Afterwards, the gates were briefly opened to allow a small crowd to view his body hanging from the gallows.
