Irish firm strikes €2m software deals in China
Cornerstone International, which is based in NovaUCD, the college’s business centre, said that it was awarded the contracts following the recent visit to China with the Taoiseach.
Cornerstone International specialises in providing advanced software development training and automated testing systems for the Chinese market. The company said it had signed training and testing agreements with the company across China.
Cornerstone chief executive Kraken Yu said the signing of agreements puts the company at the forefront of Chinese-Irish software industry collaboration.
“In addition to our own training and testing needs, Cornerstone International now has a technology and distribution platform that we can offer to third parties.
“Using our translation, localisation and test development resources we can develop and deliver, in China’s major cities, training and automated testing for Irish and other organisations such as professional bodies, software vendors or any organisation that has a need to train and test in China,” Mr Yu said.
Cornerstone International was founded by Mr Yu and Darach McEvoy, a former chairman of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
