Charles visit takes second place to princess

THE first visit by Prince Charles of England to Australia in 11 years has been overshadowed by a former Sydney estate agent whose marriage last year made her into a Danish princess.

Princess Mary and her husband, heir to the Danish throne Crown Prince Frederik, officially launched their two-week tour Down Under with a boat trip and sailing race on Sydney’s landmark harbour.
