Blair to face grilling at inquiry

BRITISH Prime Minister Tony Blair will this week face tough questions over how Dr David Kelly was outed as a source for a BBC story on a dossier on Iraq at the inquiry into the death of the weapons expert.

The way Dr Kelly, a civil servant, was thrust into the public eye has become a key issue in Lord Hutton’s investigation.

The Prime Minister’s intimate involvement in the decision to announce a possible BBC source had come forward is detailed in documents released by Lord Hutton’s inquiry last night.
