Blair’s blurred European vision

TONY BLAIR wants to change the direction of the EU while Britain holds the presidency over the next six months.

He set the agenda for his time at the helm over the last few weeks, beginning when the French rejected the EU Constitution, and then at last month’s summit when he refused to compromise on the Budget for the next six years.
