Man who beat 13-month baby girl to death is jailed for life

A MAN who subjected a 13-month-old baby girl to a five month ordeal of physical abuse was yesterday jailed for life with a recommendation he serve a minimum of 13 years.

Sandy McClure, aged 27, beat Carla-Nicole Bone to death at a cottage in Aberdeenshire.

The baby’s mother, Andrea Bone, 20, who was found guilty of culpable homicide for failing to prevent the murder, was jailed for three years.
