Troubled Best charged with drink-driving

FOOTBALL legend George Best was charged with drink-driving yesterday, Scotland Yard said.

The former Manchester United star was stopped by police on the A3 in Merton, south-west London, at around 12.20am.

It is understood he was stopped after being seen to be driving erratically.
