Driver knocked out

A BUS careered into a parked car in England after its driver was knocked unconscious by a conker.

The 62-year-old was taken to hospital after being knocked out by the flying missile, which was hurled through the open window of the single-decker bus on Tuesday evening.

The bus crashed at low speed into a Ford Mondeo in Sowerby, Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Police are now hunting a group of children seen throwing the conker.

A trained nurse travelling on the bus came to the driver’s rescue.
