Einstein’s theory faces satellite test

NASA HAS launched a $700 million satellite to test Albert Einstein’s theory of general relativity.

The Gravity-Probe-B is one of the most precise scientific instruments ever built.

Einstein developed his theories of relativity in the early 20th century and those theories are generally accepted today. Among the most exotic of his predictions is that massive bodies including planets, stars or black holes twist time and space as they spin.
