Matches found for brothers

THE father of four boys suffering from the same rare genetic condition said today that matches have been found for all his sons.

David and Allison Hartley's sons, Joshua, 12, Nathan, 10, Daniel, eight, and Luke, four, were diagnosed with the extremely rare genetic defect known as X-Linked Lymphoproliferative Syndrome, or Duncan's Syndrome, in November last year.

Doctors have said the only cure for the boys, from Romsey, Hampshire, was a bone marrow transplant.
