Teen goes missing with policeman

A 15-YEAR-OLD schoolgirl has gone missing with a 22-year-old police officer, police said yesterday.

Naomi Mills, from Worcester, disappeared with Matthew Brooks, who serves with West Mercia Police the same force which is trying to trace the teenager.

Witnesses have reported that they were both seen at the Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Brierley Hill, West Midlands, on Friday.

It is believed they travelled north on the M6 in a blue Vauxhall Astra cabriolet.

Police said officers had recovered the car on a beach at Tongue, on the north coast of Scotland.

"Matthew has not been seen since Friday morning and he failed to arrive for duty on Friday night at Worcester Police Station a West Mercia Police spokesman said yesterday.

The teenager left her home in the St John's area of Worcester on Friday to walk to school, but never arrived and hasn't been seen by her parents since.

But she sent text messages to her parents, police said.
